Training Programmes with MiDAS Training North Yorkshire

Everyone starts with an on line theory course that you take at your own pace. Once you achieve the required standard there is a 90-minute practical assessment session where you receive a demonstration drive and coaching to achieve the required standard.

When you have reached the required driving standard for MiDAS you can take the accessible course, training you to safely secure a wheelchair and the passenger into the appropriate vehicle. This course starts with a classroom theory session and follows with a practical demonstration and personal assessment to reach the required standard.

All certificates are unique to the individual and last four years.

We offer training in any minibus up to 16 passenger seats and also MPV too.

Undertaking MiDAS training is not like a normal driving test and we work with all candidates to coach them to reach the required standard, even if that takes longer than the allowed 90 minutes!
